Faith · teaching · service
Ministry has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. In 2025, that took a focused outreach and teaching shape through Pakistan Outreach Ministry in Kasur, Pakistan — developing monthly curriculum, teaching remotely and supporting students through a one-year certification program and graduation.
Service has also included singing at senior-living communities for memorial celebrations and ceremonies, community music, and an ordained ministry in which I officiate weddings and memorial services. The setting changes; the responsibility does not: show up prepared, communicate with care and serve people well.
Community · program leadership
Across 2013 through 2015, I helped lead San Francisco Giants community programming that served 700+ youth participants across three facilities. It was highly hands-on work: managing live events, coordinating logistics, supporting families and representing the program in public-facing community settings.
I wanted this section to show that side of the work more clearly — not just planning behind the scenes, but being present in the room, on the mic and with the kids. The through-line was always the same: make the experience meaningful, organized and welcoming.

Music · service · community
That has looked different over time: singing at senior-living memorial celebrations, participating in ministry settings, and creating local school music-day experiences for children. Music has often been one of the most immediate ways I have connected with people and served a room.
I value the way it creates trust and presence quickly. It asks you to pay attention, read the moment and meet people where they are — which is part of why it belongs in this portfolio right alongside leadership, counseling and operations work.
Discipline · resilience · movement
Combat sports taught me to stay composed while something difficult is happening in real time. Training in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu reinforced a mindset I carry into work: do not panic, do not avoid the problem, learn what is in front of you and keep moving.
Hiking, running and training all reinforce that same mindset — movement, perspective and the satisfaction of doing something that asks a little more of you.

Creative practice
I have photographed landscapes, community events and everyday moments for years. I like the discipline of framing something well — finding the angle, waiting for the light and seeing what other people might pass by.

Professional range
I maintain a California real-estate license and earned ADR certification in 2025. I also officiate weddings and memorial services. Each of those roles involves people making consequential decisions, competing interests, emotion, deadlines and trust — which is one reason they have strengthened how I negotiate, counsel and communicate professionally.
“The point is not to collect activities. It is to keep becoming more capable, useful and alive to the world around you.”
