Beyond the job title
A life with range.
Work is a large part of my story, but not the whole story. Service, discipline, creativity, faith and curiosity have shaped how I lead just as much as a job title ever could.

One year of building a Bible College program.
For one year, I helped lead a Bible College certification program in Kasur, Pakistan — developing monthly curriculum, teaching remotely and supporting students through the full program through graduation.
Ministry has also included community singing at retirement homes and ceremonies, and I am an ordained minister who officiates weddings and memorial services. The setting changes; the responsibility does not: show up prepared, communicate with care and serve people well.

Three seasons with the Giants community.
I spent three seasons helping lead San Francisco Giants community programming, supporting a 700+ participant youth program across three facilities. The work combined logistics, families, community partners, events and the kind of day-to-day problem solving that makes a large program actually run.
One of the things I value most about that chapter is how close leadership was to service: helping kids, families and community partners have a great experience while keeping a lot of moving pieces aligned behind the scenes.

Comfortable being uncomfortable.
Combat sports taught me to stay composed while something difficult is happening in real time. Training in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu reinforced a mindset I carry into work: do not panic, do not avoid the problem, learn what is in front of you and keep moving.
Hiking, running and horseback riding give me a different version of the same thing — movement, perspective and the satisfaction of doing something that asks a little more of you.
Creative practice
Photography taught me to notice.
I have photographed landscapes, community events and everyday moments for years. I like the discipline of framing something well — finding the angle, waiting for the light and seeing what other people might pass by.
Professional range
Real estate, ADR & ceremony.
I maintain a California real-estate license and ADR certification. I also officiate weddings and memorial services. Each of those roles involves people making consequential decisions, competing interests, emotion, deadlines and trust — which is one reason they have strengthened how I negotiate, counsel and communicate professionally.
